Courtney Payton, LMT (Owner & Instructor): Courtney Payton has been a licensed massage therapist since 1997 primarily focusing her practice around injury rehabilitation and pre-natal care. Since 1998 Courtney has created the curricula for, and taught massage therapists bodywork skills and massage techniques with the Utah College of Massage Therapy Family of Schools (UCMTFOS) and also with Bryman College. She has experience teaching and developing a wide variety of bodywork courses such as Hydrotherapy, Reflexology, Seated Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Russian Sports Massage, Injury Massage, and Professional Development. Courtney also has an extensive background and education in exercise physiology, kinesiology, pathology, and anatomy/physiology from the Western Wyoming College, University of Wyoming, and Arizona State University.

Courtney worked for UCMTFOS for over 10 years as an Instructor, Faculty Coordinator, Education Manager, Regional Education Manager, and Campus Director. She was able to bring her diverse knowledge of the classroom into an administrative role and manage a matriculating student base of 300 - 350 as well as a staff of 10 - 70.

Courtney currently works as the Regional Manager for Massage Envy in Northern California. She trains massage therapists and other staff as well as continues to teach continuing education classes at the Healing Arts Institute in Sacramento, CA. She has been providing continuing education classes to Massage Envy clinics across the nation, spas & salons, as well as individual sessions since 2006.
